Intro
Started my graduation design process project by spotting and identifying a problem with a product user flow or spotting a key feature that can enhance user experience.

Problem
I thought of the Messenger application not having an immediate audio/video recording feature.

My hunch is that many users of this application will love an easy-access icon for fast-screen audio/video recording to suit different interests and needs.

Desktop Research
I did desktop and competitive research to further define the problem. I learned that many applications for screen audio/video recording can be downloaded, but, it must be used outside of the Messenger application.

User Testing
Interviewees were regular Messenger users,  I asked them about the functionality of the website, app, or other methods they used for Messenger by observing each of them as they attempted to complete tasks.

Interviews
I conducted the user interviews with Messenger users and synthesize the findings. Six participants of different ages and gender talked about their experiences when using Messenger.

Iteration

I have concluded in my iteration that it is acceptable to have the service updated if more than 80% of the participants think that a recording feature is a business advantage for the famous application. The interview also provided insights and recommendations that will further help to generate design ideas.

Solution
A new Messenger version that shows resolve to the problem issue will have an easy access icon for screen audio/video recording desired by many users to create and/or to preserve memories with ease.
